O.P.E.N.I.N.G. the Front Door of your Church
A church cannot grow without visitors! How can a church attract more visitors and what should a church do when they attend? A healthy church must develop an intentional plan to connect visitors and assimilate them into the life and ministries of the church. This conference discusses seven keys to initial visitor assimilation and retention.

C.L.O.S.I.N.G. the Back Door of your Church
Many churches place importance on attracting visitors, but they never think through the process of how to connect them to the church, how to track their progress, and how to involve them in ministry. This conference discusses seven important factors in helping visitors progress toward productive church membership and involvement.

Simple Church, Returning to God’s Process for Making Disciples
Dr. Thom S. Rainer and Dr. Eric Geiger discovered that the healthiest churches in America tended to have a simple process for making disciples. By their definition, a Simple Church is “a congregation designed around a straightforward and strategic process that moves people through the stages of spiritual growth (discipleship).” This conference takes a detailed look at the four Simple Church concepts of clarity, movement, alignment, and focus that were discovered in their research.

Establishing a Strategy for Discipleship
What is a disciple? What is discipleship? There seems to be a lot of confusion! This conference looks at the five places discipleship takes places in most churches and helps a local church establish an intentional strategy for success in the area of discipleship.

The Cost of Discipleship (Stewardship)
Is there a link between discipleship and stewardship? The Bible contains over 2,300 scriptures that talk about money. Jesus said, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also” (Matthew 6:21, NIV). This conference takes an initial look at the relationship between discipleship and stewardship.

Moving Deacons from Decision-Makers to Difference-Makers
Most churches expect deacons to help make decisions, but deacons often feel they make no significant, worthwhile contribution. This conference will help deacons explore ways they can have lasting impact on the people in their church and in the communities where they live.

The Gift-Based Deacon Ministry
What would happen if deacons focused on the areas where God had given them spiritual gifts and natural abilities? This conference will help a deacon body organize and function around their individual gifts and abilities.

Establishing Deacon Ministry Teams
The latest trend in deacon ministry is team ministry. In this approach, deacons identify several specific ministries that the deacon body will perform. Typically, each deacon chooses the ministry where they will focus and serve. With the diversity of ministries and the specific focus upon one function, deacons achieve greater success and satisfaction. This conference helps a deacon body establish and implement a team ministry approach.
