| Music Opportunities for Youth |
 The Kentucky Baptist All-State Junior High Choir is an auditioned 70-voice choir for younger youth, grades 7, 8 and 9. The goal is to keep musically talented youth involved and challenged in church music by addressing the social, spiritual and musical needs unique to this age group. Members enjoy a weekend retreat followed by an opportunity to lead worship at a local church.
This auditioned 70-voice high-school aged choir meets every summer for a retreat, followed by a whirlwind tour singing at Kentucky Baptist churches under the direction of a guest conductor. The choir is a great opportunity for learning, life-long friendships and fun!
| All-State Youth Orchestra |
The orchestra is a 40-piece auditioned group of high school instrumentalists from across the state. The orchestra goes on a retreat and tour each summer with the All-State Youth Choir, under the direction of a distinguished guest conductor. High school students who have completed grades 9 - 12 and are active members of a Kentucky Baptist Convention church are eligible to audition. Youth who are selected and participate do not have to re-audition each year, as long as they remain a member in good standing. |
