General Information
A church cannot grow without visitors! Three of the simple keys to church growth include: attracting more first-time guests, keeping them after their initial visit, and assimilating them into church life. What is your church doing to close the back door and help visitors make connections?

Research indicates that a church must keep about 17 percent of first-time guests to experience a minimal growth rate of 5 percent a year. Churches that grow rapidly keep between 25-30 percent, while declining churches keep only 6 percent.

Each tour stop will provide you with ideas and practices to help you attract more first-time guests to your church and improve your rate of assimilation. Our prayer is that these events will ultimately help you increase your church’s membership and involvement.

Plan now to attend one of the Assimilation Tour 2008 stops near you!
