The Discipleship and Assimilation Department exists to help church leaders develop and implement effective strategies for assimilation, discipleship, deacon ministries, and bivocational ministries. We provide:
Upon request, the department will provide personal consultations for churches and associations in the areas of assimilation, discipleship, deacon ministries, and bivocational ministries.

Statewide and regional events will be scheduled across Kentucky to help churches in the areas of assimilation and discipleship.
| Super Saturday Training Conferences |
Conferences will be provided at Super Saturdays to help churches in the areas of assimilation, discipleship, deacon ministries, and bivocational ministries.
| Deacon/Pastor/Spouse Retreats |
Statewide retreats will be offered to help churches with deacon/pastor/spouse relations and ministries. When possible, individual church retreats will be provided upon request.
| Bivocational Celebrations and Workshops |
Statewide, regional, and associational celebrations and workshops will be provided to target the unique challenges of bivocational ministers.
The department offers a variety of free resources and materials for Kentucky Baptist churches. |
