| Disaster Relief Team Serves in Nicaragua |

LOUISVILLE - Eleven Kentucky Baptists have just returned from an eight-day disaster relief missions trip to the Mosquitia region of Nicaragua.
While in Nicaragua, team members helped rebuild homes devastated by Hurricane Felix on Sept. 4, 2007. The trip took place March 29-April 5 and was coordinated through the Kentucky Baptist Convention.
Team members included: Ray Fultz of Frankfort, Donald Sweet and Bill Gibson of Nicholasville, Tony Thompson of Lexington, George Phillips and Larry Hunt of Campbellsville, Charlie Simmons of Mayfield, Paul and Kathrine Dunnington and Teresa Parmley of Monticello, and Coy Webb of Shelbyville.
The Kentucky team was part of a larger Southern Baptist relief effort coordinated through Baptist Global Response, the Southern Baptist international development and relief organization. The recovery effort is scheduled to continue through July.
