Resurme Services
Assistance is available for ministers in helping them find the place God wants for them in ministry. Ministers simply start a file using our Online Resume Service.

From there, the Leadership office will send your resume - without evaluation or recommendation - to churches upon request. Your file will remain active for up to six months, and may be reactivated after that time. A phone call, note or e-mail will reactivate your file. You may also deactivate your file at any time.

Need help preparing your resume? Your resume is a reflection of a significant part of your life as a minister. When it comes into the hands of a Search Committee or Personnel Committee it is likely to be read, studied, pondered over and discussed by this group of people. What are they looking for? What are they interested in knowing about you? What gets their attention? Find out more! Click here to download our excellent guide "Preparing a Ministry Resume that Gets Attention." You'll need Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Conflict Management Consultation
What happens when disagreements seem intractable? Ministers and congregations do not have to give up on one another when they fail to reach an agreement. Consultation is available to congregations and church staff members when a conflict needs third party assistance. You can request a consultation today. It's an excellent way for church staff and congregations to grow together instead of being torn apart.

Counseling Assistance
Counseling assistance is available to all Kentucky Baptist church staff members, their spouses and children under 18. The KBC Leadership Team will supplement up to 80% of the cost for as many as 20 sessions. For assistance or for referral to Christian counselors, contact us by e-mail or call (502) 489-3580 or toll free in Kentucky (866) 489-3580. Confidentiality is of the upmost concern; all contacts are kept strictly confidential.

Ministers in Transition
Do you know a pastor or other church staff member wounded by an involuntary termination or forced resignation? Such difficult situations can be painful not only to the minister, but to the minister's spouse and children as well. We offer a free, confidential semi-annual conference for families who have been through an involuntary termination or forced resignation. For more information about the next conference, or to recommend an individual you believe can benefit, contact us by e-mail or call (502) 489-3580 or toll free in Kentucky (866) 489-3580. All correspondence is confidential.
