Highlights of the 170th annual meeting of the Kentucky Baptist Convention:
Bill Henard, pastor of Porter Memorial Baptist Church in Lexington, was elected president of the Kentucky Baptist Convention 2007-2008.

Jim Castlen, director of missions for the Three Forks Association was elected first vice president, (

Messengers voted to shorten annual meetings to a single day.
