LOUISVILLE – Six Kentucky Baptists have been selected to serve on denominational boards and committees for the Southern Baptist Convention.
The Kentucky nominees will serve if elected by the messengers to the annual meeting of the Southern Baptist Convention, June 10-11 in Indianapolis, Ind.
Nominees include:
- Scott Kilgore of Bowling Green, nominated for a second term on the SBC Executive Committee.
- Norman Coe of Louisville, nominated for a second term on the SBC International Mission Board.
- Peggy Ballou of Corbin, nominated to replace Dan Garland on the SBC North American Mission Board for a term to expire in 2011.
- Todd Linn of Henderson, nominated for a second term on the board of Southeastern Seminary.
- Larry Lewis of Paducah, nominated for a second term on the board of Midwestern Seminary.
- Will Langford of Independence, nominated to replace Joe Turner on the Committee on Order of Business.
