Whether you are new to ministry, new to Kentucky, or both, the Mission Board staff would like to welcome you!
We set aside a special time to greet ministers and families who have come into the state or begun their ministry during the past year. On March 31-April 1, those new to the ministry and/or new to Kentucky are invited to be our guest for an overnight event that includes an afternoon seminar, a dinner program and morning visit at the Baptist Building. The schedule begins at 2:00 PM at the Hilton Garden Inn for a seminar on “Saying Hello and Goodbye.” At 6:30 PM we will gather at the Hilton Garden Inn for dinner. On Tuesday, we will visit and share an informal fellowship meal with the Kentucky Baptist Convention staff.
Our Tuesday morning schedule begins at our building at 13420 Eastpoint Centre Drive. Guests will be given a tour of the facilities, meet the staff and hear a brief word about each department’s function. We will end the morning with a fellowship lunch at the Kentucky Baptist Building. We are eager for you to become acquainted with the resources available to you.

Travel expense at $.38 per mile and the room at the Hilton Garden Inn will be provided for those staying overnight. If you can only attend one of these two events, please do so. We will send you more details and directions to the motel as well as directions to the Kentucky Baptist Building after we have received your confirmation. |
